iRegalo is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal data. By using iRegalo, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
We collect the following types of information:
Account Information: Name, email address, and password when you register.
Transaction Data: Order details, product selections, payment amounts, and delivery information (e.g., recipient mobile numbers).
Payment Information: Payment is processed by Stripe and PayMongo. We do not store your full card number — only the last 4 digits and card type for your reference.
Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, collected automatically when you use our service.
Communications: Messages you send us through the contact form or email.
We use your information to:
• Process and fulfill your orders
• Send order confirmations and gift card codes
• Provide customer support
• Send account security notifications (e.g., 2FA codes, password resets)
• Prevent fraud and ensure platform security
• Improve our services and user experience
• Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not use your data for advertising purposes.
We share your information only in the following circumstances:
Service Providers: We share data with Stripe (payment processing), PayMongo (local payment processing), and Zendit (gift card fulfillment) to complete your transactions. These providers have their own privacy policies and are bound by data protection agreements.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of iRegalo users.
Business Transfer: In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information:
• SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit
• Passwords are hashed using PHP's bcrypt algorithm — we never store plain-text passwords
• Optional Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for your account
• Payment data is tokenized by Stripe and PayMongo — we never touch raw card numbers
• Regular security reviews and access controls
While we take reasonable precautions, no system is 100% secure. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately.
iRegalo uses essential session cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your cart. We also use localStorage to remember your theme preference (light/dark mode). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect site functionality (e.g., you will not be able to stay logged in).
Under applicable privacy laws, you have the right to:
• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account and associated data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent for optional data uses

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Order and transaction records are kept for a minimum of 7 years for tax and legal compliance purposes. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal profile and anonymize your transaction history within 30 days, unless retention is required by law.
iRegalo is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Your continued use of iRegalo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
